I won't give a date when we moved onto this rural 5 acres it was quite a while ago. The only people who used the road in front of our property were the small numbers of families that lived on the rural acreages alongside that road, and those that were lost. Today at around 3 pm or thereabouts the road as far as they eye can see from left to right is at a halt, no cars are moving. It is a two lane road in front of our property and for years the council has been promising to make the road a 4 lane highway but we are still waiting.

 

I showed this article of overpopulation to a friend of mine. His reply was "well there is still plenty of vast, empty spaces in Australia". This thinking will speed up our demise. What he is suggesting is to house the over-spill of people in the vast empty spaces in outback Australia. That means we can house thousands of more people, maybe millions, when we should be reducing our population not increasing the numbers. My God, I hope this is not the thinking of our politicians, or our our demise might be taking somewhat earlier.

China dabbled with the"one child policy" it did not work. It caused more damage than solving the population problem. What is not understood is the amount of "Stuff " needed to sustain such a huge population. With overpopulation driving global weather change it is impossible to correct the problem. 

What is happening right now is the huge weather changes we are seeing around the planet. I hear words like unprecedented or 'since records were kept'. At the moment we are seeing floods, fires and extremely high temperatures. Weather extremes that has never recorded before. 

Thousands are dying in the floods in Pakistan with 1/3 of the country submerged, with parts of California experiencing extreme temperatures, with worrying low levels of water in the Colorado River with severe drought in Somalia. 

Today, severe storms in Cuba blacked out the entire island. On the evening news it was announced Cyclone  Ian with 240 KM winds  that battered Florida leaving 20 dead before heading for Southern California. .

The media is quick to report these terrible weather events but not so quick to discuss why they are happening..

People are starving in Sri Lanka because of the severe flooding, at the same time people are experiencing extremely high temperatures in India and China  The people can protest, have marches, pressure governments.... but it will be to no avail. Maybe our visitors are watching a dying planet. I wrote about the worlds population numbers which stands at around 8.1 Billion. If you disagree that unsustainable numbers  will not make this planet uninhabitable what numbers do you suggest? The world's population numbers have never decreased in numbers.

I passed a friends family house the other week, his parents owned a detached house on a  2.1/2 perch block. when they died the house was sold to developers, the house was knocked down and four, two story apartments built in its place. What is being built is high rise housing as far as the eye can see, when are we going to get the message.  The population numbers HAVE to be reduced, but I suspect there is not enough time to stop or even reverse the inevitable. 

Our leaders still do not understand it is overpopulation that drives global warming. It was around the late 1800's when the industrial revolution commenced and the world started to be mined causing the release of Carbon gases which started to warm up the planet, Yearly the population numbers have increased so has the world temperature, they go hand in hand. It has taken approx  150 years from the commencement of the Industrial Revolution to get to this stage but our politicians say they will fix the worlds weather extremes in 5 years.

In the news this week it was reported in California near Death Valley it experienced the hottest temperatures on record with temps reaching 53 F. When weather commentators make comments such as "this will be common occurrence in the future"then we have need to be concerned. This morning the TV news informed us Somalia is experiencing its worst famine for 40 years.

Also on the news this morning we were informed 2022 was the wettest year on record for  Sydney, Australia. It  received 2.199 mm of rain with 86 days still left of 2022 breaking the 1950 record. 

Is there an answer? Our politicians seem to have the answer, they suggest they will have these global weather changes sorted in about three years. They see it as ALL about stopping the release of Carbon into the atmosphere. I have read about sustainable mining which sounds like a  contradiction in terms, no we wont go there.

You are not going to like my predictions. I again make the prediction our Planet is doomed. It is a dying planet. As I have written before we are not the first planet to die along with its inhabitants and we will not be the last.

What is happening as I write is countries now begging for assistance because of floods. 1000 people have drowned in Pakistan and are now many are now  starving. Pakistan has also been greatly affected by flooding. There have also been floods in Australia. Most of southern Europe have been affected by forest fires and at the same time in Death Valley in California have been beset by heat temperatures never before experienced. Low lying atolls in the pacific are now experiencing rising sea levels. That is a brief summation.

So how will it play out? Whatever the politicians say to placate the population IT CANNOT BE REVERSED. What we are seeing because of these weather extremes  is the movement of people from one part of the planet to another. At the moment it is a trickle but many people have drowned in the Mediterranean in small boats from Africa to Greece, or drowned trying to cross the English Channel  all hoping the problem will not exist not realizing it is a world-wide problem.

Because of the world weather patterns having been changed the rains don't arrive when expected or if they are extreme, which in turn affect crop production, the same with unexpected extreme heat, So what happens these weather changes begin to affect the whole planet. The chaotic times will be signaled by the huge movement of people. The numbers are extreme and border control becomes pointless.

Bear in mind there have been no other example in the worlds history to go by, so how the end plays out is purely guess work.  There will be a very few people who were invited to join the "RACE FOR MARS" who will hear of the closing chapters of life on earth and who will be wondering what the next chapter will be.

Oh a little surprise for listeners to the News this morning, the worlds oceans are the hottest they have ever been and today Russia had temperatures of -60 c . 12/1/2023

Poison the atmosphere and this will in turn affect the planet’s weather. It is not unlike removing a critically placed domino and finding all rest are going to fall and there is no possibility of reversing the situation as it is impossible to replace that Domino.
